The Association of American Boyers, Inc. is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to cultivate family ties and preserve genealogical records.

This is important to understand as this past year has seen some major changes for its president. Right after 2007 reunion I took on an exciting and more demanding job. This allowed me no time to pursue or keep up on Association related activities. This is why there has been no newsletter this year (2008), a much reduced reunion, and minimal response to correspondence or book orders. Please understand that I have a full time job and family, therefore the Association work (reunion organizing, book orders, membership, newsletters, and assisting the historian in book publishing) had to come last. It is my hope that the membership understands and will be patient as I work with the other officers to get things back on track. I apologize for my inability to meet the deadlines you as members deserve.

We are working hard to make the 105th reunion in 2009 more of what you have come to expect, hope to have a newsletter out by the end of this year and get caught up on all other matters. Lastly I have been involved with this organization for over 26 years and attending reunions for over 40. The Association is important to me and with your help we will be even better in the future. Thank you.
